New palletising solution ensures a more efficient, ergonomic and flexible process.

In order to deploy manpower more efficiently and optimise the work process, Poppies Bakeries asked Innomatic to develop a palletising solution. This solution had to be able to handle a wide variety of products, a high output per minute and limited space, while also improving ergonomics.

The solution

Innomatic developed a customised palletising solution with a collaborative robot (cobot) that works safely alongside the operator.

What we implemented:

Lifting system for interlayers – Speeds up the placement process and increases efficiency.
Customised safety zone – Allows the cobot to move faster without endangering the operator.
Aangepaste veiligheidszone – Zorgt ervoor dat de cobot sneller kan bewegen zonder de operator in gevaar te brengen.
User-friendly software – Operators can easily create box configurations and programmes without complex operations.
Efficient task distribution – By allowing the cobot to work in parallel with other systems, it only runs when necessary. This not only increases reliability but also extends its service life.

The result

The new palletising solution ensures a smoother, safer and more ergonomic process at Poppies Bakeries.
The cobot stacks the products autonomously, while the operator easily monitors the process via the intuitive software. The system reduces physical strain, increases efficiency and fits seamlessly into the existing production area.
