Industrial Automation Engineer
As an integrator, Innomatic supports manufacturing companies in their process and business automation.
To support our growth, we are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for process automation and robotics.
You will participate in challenging automation projects and have the opportunity to build knowledge within our growing machine vision domain.
Your challenge
You are involved in the entire process of designing, programming, and visualising control systems.
Together with the engineering team, you design controls that make machines smarter, safer, and more efficient.
You will be working with modern technologies around PLCs, HMIs, motion control, robots, and vision.
Your responsibilities
- Designing, programming, and testing PLC controls (primarily Siemens / TIA Portal).
- Developing visualisations (HMI/SCADA) for user-friendly operation.
- Integrating robots, drives, sensors, and safety components.
- Support with commissioning and follow-up for customers.
- Contributing to technical improvements and automation concepts.
- Collaborating with machine vision colleagues for future-proof integrations.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial sciences, electromechanics, or automation.
- Experience or a strong interest in PLC programming (Siemens / TIA Portal) and robotics.
- Basic knowledge of HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks.
- Technical and analytical insight, with a passion for innovation.
- Interest in machine vision and data integration as part of modern automation.
- Independent, solution-oriented, and communicative.
- B driving license.
